Radio Producer
I Endeavor to Make You and Your Guests Shine

I am passionate radio broadcasting! I love being in the studio, working behind-the-scenes, making your station and on-air personalities shine. I enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment with quick thinking on my feet.

I am very much interested in radio production for a news-talk radio show, a morning show, or a news program. I enjoy working under pressure, learning new things, having the opportunity to be analytical, strategic, and spot on with the clock.

News & Community Affairs Director/On-Air Personality

College Radio at its best! I produced, hosted and promoted three music shows:

  • BottleRocketRadioShow focused on protest music through the ages,
  • It’s Simply Complicated was an eclectic mix of post-rock, worldbeat and Ken Nordine, and
  • The WOCR Morning Show which featured album rock, 80’s rock, grunge and at least one country song per hour.

As News & Community Affairs Director, I researched and wrote radio-copy announcements of community events for other on-air personalities to announce on the air.

This was my first experience in radio. I worked in social services for many years. It took me awhile to realize something as fun as radio could be a career.

My Contribution: Board operation, recorded satellite feed, substituted for FM staff. Announced weather reports and weather alerts. Played underwriter and promo carts. Utilized Traffic Programming Script. Helped Fred figure out his email password.
